Hi Frank, Lee Valley sells the plugs ready made up, in a variety of sizes, I frequently use epoxy's and CA glue for stripped screw repairs, but in this case, I would use the plugs due to the weight of the partical board lid. It will be a stronger repair. As a plus I would use 1/4" longer screws at the vertical position for extra insurance. Regards Roger >> The wood on this piano has not been too badly damaged.
