pianotech@ptg.org Good stuff, I have never "imobilized" a dolly, I do have locks, on the two back wheels and "free" wheels in the front of my new dolly, to "immobilize" as you say, because I move most of my stuff on, and over marble. But "TRUST ME" the proper rubber material on the top of the dolly "grabs" my skid baord, or in this case, the side of a rim ...with abosolutely no damage. Agian, "LIFT THE DOOLY TO MEET TO PIANO< if your alone. give it a bit of a kick to make sure it is snug and certered, and then let the "thing' down.....leverage my friend, mind over matter....Don't talk to me about "different people every time" That's a novel.
