Better yet, sit on the bench, put your knees under the keybed, grab one leg
(the piano) at a time (alternately) and pull gently while levering up and
out with your knees. No pain, no strain. To scoot it back, reach over
(standing) and grab the top and pull toward you while you lean into the
front of the keybed with your thighs, propelled by your calf muscles.
Simple, painless, and very little effort required. Always practice safe scoot.
