One more addition (though I haven't tried it yet - just an idea) would be to tie some kind of cord through one end, or the middle, then loop it around the left wrist. That way the "thumper" would always be right there by your hand, eliminating the necesity of putting it down and picking it up when the hand is needed for playing more than one note. Wally Scherer
