Back in 1980 I was at the Boesendorfer repair facility in the Kimball factory. There were a number of these grands in for treble bridge repairs due to splits in the high treble section. Does anyone know if this is a continuing problem? Any stats on the expected longevity of these bridges? Are they still using spruce? Dan McClung pianoshoppe@coinet.com
