There WILL be more, no 'may' about it.

The Bible says "beat the drum and sound the trumpet."  It does _not_
say, "sound the drums and beat the trumpet."

Property abuse is as sinful in the House as outside it.  Perhaps more
so.

I have done the following in similar situations

    Set let-off at 3/16"
    Decrease hammer travel to 1 1/2"
    Decrease dip to compensete
    Low drop to match let-off
    Raise checking back to 5/8"
    Keep the voice mellow.
    Instruct the music director to increase amplifier level and put a
monitor near the pianists ear and crank up the volume.

Put a spring in the bedal box for show and remove the damper pitman.  On
Yamahas it is easy to replace when needed.
