Baldwin Action Problem

Paul,
I have not faced the same problem. What kind of threads do the bolts have?
Could they be replaced with studs that have a screw thread on one end and
standard course on the other? Or if the bolts are threaded into the plate,
an engine stud that has different threads on each end? Not having seen the
setup These are just a guess
