You are the second to address me as Dr. Coleman. JimRPT pulled off this
stunt so that I can no longer deny the title. I've been had.

Dear Clancy;
Yes it was real, though done in a lighthearted manner. To a person, each of
the signatories of the "College of Hammers and Tuning" said that it was well
deserved and was going to 'the' appropiate individual. One even verbally
berated the individual responsible for not doing this on a more timely
basis:-)

The Doctoral robe is a sedate and traditional Black, trimmed in buffed
satin at cuffs and lapels and of suitable size as befits a robe of this
nature. The Letters ribbon, which in my opinion is 'very' handsome, was
tailored from an 8 foot length of guitar strap material. The Doctoral degree
itself was presented in an antique gold frame suitable for display in the
appropiate location.

The classroom, while not absolutely packed in, could not have held many
more and there were many people observing while standing out in the hall in
addition to those in the room. The 'full' spectrum of PTG was represented by
those in attendance and taking time from their busy convention schedule to
pay their respects to DR. Coleman at the time of his investiture.

Lighthearted, perhaps.........absolutely seriously meant and deeply
felt...you bet yo bippy baby...... by every one of the signatories and the
multitude who gave their ovation and their approval to 'our' new "Doctor"
Coleman.
Thanks Doc!
I will say no more on this subject.
