A couple of months ago, the price of a Big Mac was mentioned as a reliable 
standard of comparison among international currencies, as it would be a fair 
indicator of both exchange rate and local cost of living variants.   . . . if 
only I could remember what I paid for my last Big Mac.  Time for a little 
research.
