For years I have had the idea of using two E-Xacto chisel blades, a jig setup on a drill press with an alignment pin for the bottom, key alignment lines, a verticle holding devise, a chuck alignment pointer. One stroke will remove both bushings, size the mortise exactly by leaving a felt and glue substrate. Far less stress on the button. Slight lateral movement can move an off center bushing. A similar setup for removing the front bushings could save an imense amout of work and make the job far superior. Newton
