Well...

'Tis a no longer available pianomover which has lifting handles, wheels and
rollers. Visualise a 16" wide, 5 1/2' skid with a fixed 30" upright end. The
other end is hinged to accommodate different size instruments. Lifting
handles on both ends fold down out of the way, and a pair of dolly wheels
are on the fixed end, so that piano can be manuvered while on end.

The roller on the fixed end can be raised and lowered. Raised, the skid is
flat on floor (and _very_ stable), lowered the piano can be moved straight
line without a 4 wheel dolly. Raising and lowering the end with that roller
will also allow you to lower another set of wheels in the center of the skid
which lets you balance the piano and turn it on it's own wheelbase.
