et al; I have a Chickering about ready to go home and all the tuning is breaking/making worse the brass whippen/wippen/repetition lever flanges. You know the little cracks that develop in the pin holding groove :-(. There were no broken or loose flanges before I started tuning. If my understanding is correct these particular flanges are not available...right? Question: Has anyone ever tried "silver soldering" these thingees? Think it would work? Jim Bryant (FL)
