Pianos and Cars

All of the moving parts are not just in the action, right??  How many parts
in the pedals, etc...

Doesn't a piano have 12,000 moving parts?  And what does one mean by "Moving
Parts"?  How many moving parts does an automobile have??  It is kind of hard
to believe.
