The front screws actually just provide stability and prevent flexing....... I suppose, as they are quite small. The underlever assembly is supported firmly at the back by four larger screws, one for each iron frame that goes into the crossblock. It sure is aggravating to try to work something like this out...especially at this time of the year :-) Jim Bryant (FL)
