A "Must See" Steinway

I have been been asked to consign possibly one of the most valuable
Steinways in the world. This model A has been in private hands since
1902 and it is doubtful that it has ever been pictured until now. It is a
must see for any Steinway aficionado or anyone with a possible client
for it. The piano is currently in one of my showrooms. As for its
price, all that I feel appropriate saying on this list is that there has
been an offer well into six digits and the owner has declined it.

I have traced its history and determined that the decorations (including
the murals, mother-of-pearl keys, cherubs...) date back to when
the piano was new.

I apologize in advance for possibly taking liberties with the scope of
this list. I do believe this will be of interest to many subscribers and
I trust that my past comments have been valuable enough to grant
me this one mulligan.

I'll be happy to respond to any inquiries off list. At this point, there
may not be a link on the site to reply to me, so you'll need to cut
and paste my address from this posting to reach me.

Thank you, and I hope you enjoy the pics. Make sure you zoom in
on those mother-of-pearl key tops! Interesting stuff...
