To my dear friends of the LIST

Hi all,

As most of you know, I've been dealing with some rather difficult times in
my life. It's funny, I felt some transition was coming, and flexibility was
going to be a key ingredient for survival. August of this year proved to be
the proverbial straw on the camel's back and I had to make a really big
decision ...... continue to tough it out with my soon to be ex, or lose the
battle with a rather demanding and aggresive dealer. It was simple in
concept but difficult to accept. She got the house full of goods, an acre
of suburban property, the payments, the car and some cash (about $14K
total). Not a bad gig for her. I got the business and no support payments.
If any of you are ever exposed to this kind of traffic in your life, let me
express my deepest sympathies in advance. It's rough waking up every
morning knowing that there's a lot of people with their hands in your pockets.

Well, I'm back on track, busy as hell, ready to kick some serious butt and
take names later!!! I'm pretty much working every waking hour, no TV (don't
need it cuz I don't have time to watch it), and I don't have a lot of time
to sit a read the P-tech digests that I've been getting two and three times
a day. I miss my ham radio (no point in putting up the antenna array since
I'm on rental property and I'd probably knock out every phone and TV in
about 6 households) and now and again I TAKE time to go play ..... but only
for a few hours at a time.

To sum things up, I'd dearly love to take a little time every day to keep
caught up on the happenings of the P-tech list but I've got a chance to make
hay while the sun shines and believe me, the hay baler gets no rest until
January. I'm thankful for all your emails through all this, and all the
compassion and comradery from people that I've never met eyeball to eyeball
(blood shot as they are). My very best wishes to all of you and always keep
an eye on reality so that it doesn't bite you in the butt too terribly hard.

Happy Holidays

One last thought, ....... I noticed somewhere that PTG members get reduced
admission prices at DisneyWorld or Disneyland or some such place. Do any of
you have the scoop on this??
