Graphite is a pefectly acceptable 'slipicant' :-) for key frame applications, i.e. glide bolt button burnishing and dag burnishing. The secret for use of 'any' lubricant is to use it properly...obviously in the case you are dealing with it wasn't. My view. Jim Bryant (FL)
