Sostenuto retrofit

You are biting off a wagon load of cow pasture inhabitants.

The neatest system I have seen is that used by Yamaha in their U-3 and
other 52" uprights.

The next best system was one used by, of all people, Wurlitzer where
little caps with bills were inserted over the damper dowels. Now all
you have to do is find a set of those thingies.

The Yamaha system works well and they may be willing to sell you the
parts for it but some how I doubt it.

There are no available retrofits unless Young Chang has developed a
system for their larger uprights.

Be aware that this is going to eat you up with time and them most
likely not work after all that investment.

You might suggest the customer trade up to a better piano; it may be
less expensive in the long run.
