I use that from time to time, depending on the piano it is sometimes the
easiest to get ahold of. I use it only as an extra reference to insuring an
eveness to the curve in the bass. Not the most reliable test in many cases
being so high a partial pair, but useful enough if used with a grain of salt.
Another such not much used interval is the double octave and a second. I am
getting away from these tho with increased use of Cyber Ear and Tune Lab.
