A conservative estimate would be in the vicinity of 40 - 60 actual
shop hours. This presumes a total player rebuild. Proper procedure and
repair techniques are time consuming. Obtaining
replacement parts is often a futile endeavor, with some parts
requiring remanufacture in your shop.

What is the name brand of your player, and do you know what type of player
action in contains. A good source of information
would be Player Piano Co. of Wichita, KS, USA.

Some player actions are not economically feasible to rebuild.
Some investigation before hand is strongly suggested.
