Kawai ABS Flanges

I have used Protek on many Kawai's with the plastic flanges 
with no problems.  Now my question...is this the same ABS 
plastic as in the newer Kawais?  I would say yes, otherwise  
they wouldn't have the years of trial by fire in pianos to back 
up the ABS plastic parts!  But I defer to Don M.
