Inside this piano the name Rippen was on the plate or what little there was of a plate. This brand was/is made in Ireland. Couldn't believe how much plastic was in this thing. The keys were totally plastic. The hammer butts were plastic and the flange was a plastic wedge that snapped into a alum. u rail. Half the butt flanges were popped out and didn't want to snap back in. Told the customer that I didn't even want to attempt messing with it. Anybody else ever see one of these do hickeys? What was your experience? Doug Mahard >> This has been discussed on the list in the past. You did the right thing. These pianos should never have been made in the first place. Rippen is Dutch company, and I'm ashamed to say, this was one of the worst mistakes ever to come out of Holland. Willem Blees
