409 is an all-purpose spray cleaner in the USA. Although it claims to clean everything (albeit not very well), it may in fact be best at removing Corfam. I suspect it's detergent makes a great sulfactant (sp?) to break the water's surface tension. I remember that it's kind of slippery stuff, so that may help work the glue loose too. Hope this helps. Brian Henselman, RPT BTW, guys did I use the right word? Is sulfactant correct? I'm trying to think of the proper term for "wall-paper" remover. Did I get it right? -----Original Message----- From: Don <drose@dlcwest.com> To: pianotech@ptg.org <pianotech@ptg.org> Date: Monday, September 20, 1999 5:56 PM Subject: Re: Corfam removal >HI > >Alright it falls off with 409.
