Actually the pipes might be worth saving! DON'T THROW ANY AWAY YET!! Although
the glue joints will be worthless, (and many may fall apart completely), many
high-quality pipes are worth saving. A lot of them may be irreplaceable. A good
and dedicated pipe organ technician can re-cure and dry out the wood and then
reassemble them. Considering that this is the same process used for making new
ones there may not be as much work as you might think. Many old timer pipe
makers have long since passed away and taken their craft with them.
