Serial Number 00?

  The other day I ran across a Wurlitzer studio with the serial # 00.
  The piano was purchased in Virginia (possibly Roanoke or Blacksburg) in 
1973 by the owner's mother and has never had the pinblock replaced.  It seems 
like a strange serial # .  Could it be a mistake or possibly the first of 
that particular model?  I'm very curious and haven't got any responses yet.
