Lately, there have been a lot, or rather, a LOT of one liner replies to 5k messages with the entire 5k message still attached. Sometimes, there are three or four layers of thread going for yet another ride through the server because someone was too lazy to edit out all but the part(s) being spoken to. More than once in the last week, I have paged up and down past fifty lines preceded by chevrons looking for the purpose of the post. Please shuck the husks before you serve the corn. Also, note the use of "a lot" in the first sentence. The rampant use of "alot" is getting pretty thick too. It wouldn't be quite so bad, though still not allowable in Mrs Whackthicket's english class, if not for the fact that it isn't even an English word. Look it up. This has been a public service, regularly scheduled maintenance rant. We now return you to the everyday stuff. Ron N
