Clyde, a similar situation happened to me. It was a small town and almost everybody knows everybody and I tune for almost all the people in town. Mrs knew I was coming but either forgot to tell Mr or he forgot and set the alarm. As soon as I opened the door I hear the beeping. I tried to intersept the phone before the alarm to call Mrs. at her work place but had to wait until it informed the police. When I got through she advise me of the code work to tell the callers but I still waited until the police came and told them what happened. For a few weeks after that I heard about all the teasing that went around because they had set the alarm and I got to set if off. I now have the code in my file so if it happens in the future I can disarm it and not put anyone through the embarrassment.
