It sounds more like the Drop Action Button Regulator, for combo handle (APSCO p. 9 #16243) which grips & turns the lifter wire buttons. It can chew up the wood button & might need careful squeezing to make smaller & thus clear the top of the wire. The Penisten repair pin is for repairing one side of the wippen sticker slot when broken off. Bruce
