Brian Andrew's post caught my eye too! And your reply about scheduling-the tunings and shop work sounds just like what I'm doing. I live in a region of the Midwest that is hard to get the same prices for my services as tuner/techs who live in large(r) metro areas. I can under bid these areas and get the job, but not the prices. I was wondering if you live in a large metro area ( as well as Andrew) and are you aware of the rate differences between metro and rural?
