Phil I'm currently working on a fire damaged grand and have don a number of furniture pieces back in my spot finishing days. One of the cleaning companies gave me some liquid cleaner to use on "the parts I thought needed it" on the inside of the piano-which I didn't do. A room ionizer thingee did a good job of deodorizing. A local chapter member use to sell these things and may be able to give you more advice. I can forward his e-mail address if you like. Also, I'm currently working on a method for cleaning the action parts. I've got the cleaning part figured out on a limited basis, and I'm looking into doing expanding the idea.
