At one time, I saw a repetition made specifically for the Steinway piano (was it Renner that made it, perhaps??) advertised for sale as a replacement part that did indeed have the adjustment screw you referred to. My initial reaction was, "GREAT!!! Now when I have to replace a set, I'll put a set of these on instead." And now to burst the bubble, ... it seems that these repetitions have been discontinued... Dang... just when it seemed like they had a good idea... I had wondered if there were some patent issues? or legal problems associated with their production?? Anybody know what might have happened?
