Convention questions

I seriously doubt that any hotel in Arlington is going to run shuttle 
service to Amtrack.  That is why we have Metro - subway and busses.  
Definitely one can take the subway from Crystal city to Union Station in DC 
to board Amtrack.  It's just a matter of getting off one train onto another! 
  Union Station is on the Red Line.  Go two stops to Gallery Place and 
transfer to the Yellow Line to Crystal City. and visa versa.
