Les,
Listen to a quick tuner work and memorize the sound. The motions which 
increase speed strangely enough also increase accuracy.

Don't be buffaloed by someone else's speed. Use it for stimulation to keep 
moving, but go at your own pace; faster tunings come with time. However, 
doing faster pitch raises will teach you tuning efficiency without your even 
being conscious of it.
