Hi Ron etal, An easy way to explain location to customers in terms that they understand. Pianos are like humans, they like 40% RH at about 70 degrees. This combination is where most of us are most comfortable. Pose a few of the following questions, and they seem to get the picture, with out having to get to grips with the technical details. Would they sit in front of a window with the sun beating on them for very long? Would they sit in front of a frost covered window? Would they sit over a heat register? Would they sit in a cold draft? And so the list could go on. Just a few thoughts from hearing the question of where do we place the piano? >From observations and reactions on the sales floor, this approach seems to work the best.
