While the list discusses surcharges, how about just raising you price because you are a better technician.\ Had a nice, long talk with a client who is a CPA. In addition to raising our fees to match cost of living expenses, how about a raise for increased skills. Who ever heard of a time-clock worker going in to ask for a raise to just keep up with cost of living. All those classes, chapter programs, seminars, conventions, improve our skills and make us more valuable to our employeer (the client). Higher remuneration is due for increassed skills.
