Pat, I think this is a Kimball of slightly better than the usuall Kimball quality. The finishes and tech work always seemed better. Here in the Northeast I could see people willing to pay perhaps 1600 to 2200, coming from a typical piano store. However as a pianist I've never gotten excited by the Shafers, but they do hold up pretty well.
