Many years ago I remember finding an Acrosonic with a welded steel plate (or
plates). As I remember it was flat steel plates welded together with some
kind of bars. I no longer remember the customers name so could not find if
in my database. I know I have made a remark on my file card about this
plate. You notice immediately it is not a casting.
