Hi Chris, Remember, I said "learning tools" not utter dependence on an ETD. An ETD can be one of the most helpful, learning tools that a tuner can use. If anyone tries to use it dependently without learning technique or even some semblance of what tuning is all about, they are probably not going to succeed in this business anyway. About the only thing they probably will accomplish is to let Al, Dean or Bob make an extra $ here or there. :-) (See Bob D's reply; he says it much better than I.) A tool is a tool is a tool; its success is all in how it's used.
