Hi Greg! Your problem might be that the string has developed a flat spot where it passes through the agraffe, and keeps riding up and down on that indentation. This might also account for clicking sound, as the flat spot goes in and out of the agraffe. I believe that restringing would be the only permanent cure. Good luck, Patrick Poulson, RPT
