More info: Here's a picture of the action, showing where the tine is: http://www.fenderrhodes.org/rhodes/manual/ch2.html I may have been a little mistaken before about exactly where the pickup picks the sound up from. It seems that the pickup is close to the tine, not the tone bar. Anyway, have fun! Charles
