Prepping the Piano for the Tuner - slightly OT (not for the faint of heart)

I'm waiting for my favorite one this time of year. Go to tune that big
grand - and the lady says "Oh, I wished I had known you had to open the
piano to tune it - we would have waited 'till after our appointment to set
up Santa's workshop on the piano lid!" (complete with lights, statues,
housing complexes, trees, SNOW, etc., etc.)

You know its' going to happen! :-)

Now, just to put things into proper perspective, would you rather be a piano
tech facing Santa's workshop or a proctologist whose patient says - "Oh, I
didn't know you need to do that, I guess maybe I should have taken a shower
before coming over." :-(
