Five of my computer customers phoned me today as their machines were atacked
by the goner virus, I was able to clean all of them quick and harmlessly so
that qualfyes me to give you the following advize:

Its true that Goner deletes your Antivirus, not only Norton but any of the
known ones, so I urge you to connect to www.sarc.com and download the
fixgoner tool. Read the instructions (very easy) and keep the tool into a
diskette. The moment your machine is attacked (you will know if it happens,
as extra safety do not open any attachment which reads goner.scr) just
follow the instructions and run the fixtool. If you shut down the computer
you will need restarting it, do so in protected mode. In all my five cases
the only files lost were the AntiVirus which needed to be installed again.
Everything else was unafected so you do not need to be to afraid.

Elian
