I would charge maybe $75. I depends on the area of the instrument. Edges and corners are easier. The middle of the lid is hard. My usual rate is 75/hr. I don't think I charge enough though. Tuning is predictable, touch-up is chancy. I find that poly repairs are usually pretty easy...now. So I feel guilty about raising my rate. But, the risk involved in screwing something up necessitates raising the rate. Although the touch-ups usually go pretty well, I always feel like I'm just lucky. Mike Bratcher
