  Hello Howard,

Hey' Big Guy how are things in Louisiana ?

My dictionary describes vellum as, and I quote
" a fine-grained lambskin, kid skin or a calf skin
prepared for writing on or for binding books".

It does the job of a flange very well. I have seen
it still working well on pianos over 100 years old.

The Collard and Collard I have uses flanges
except on the underlevers. I have considered
changeing over to flanges. I may yet.

Regards,
to you and yours,
Jack Wyatt
