Regarding rust, has anyone tried the Pure Sound stainless steel wire yet? They have their original stuff for pre-1900 pianos, and they have their newer higher-tension stuff for modern pianos. Any experience? Any thoughts? I have a high-end client that had her Baldwin grand restrung about 3 years ago and it is trashed - major rust! She does not have air conditioning. I would sure like to find that this wire works good. My experience and knowledge is so low that I would have trouble fully evaluating a new type of string - otherwise I would just clam up and try it myself.
