Roger, List,

Thus far, no one has mentioned, or even commented about, the grading system
used to determined the quality of these pianos *before purchasing for
resale*. I have brought attention to this grading system twice, by
referencing Garrett Traylor's post titled "Re: Japanese Yamahas" located in
the archives at this site

http://www.ptg.org/archive/pianotech.php/1997/PT093_97

This grading system seems to a most relevant aspect to this thread from my
viewpoint, but thus far, it has been ignored for whatever reasons.

So, what I'd like to ask you, Roger, about these three pianos you have
brought to this list's attention as being an expensive lesson is this:
1) When did this purchase take place?
2) Was there a grading system in operation at the time of purchase like
Garrett's post has mentioned?
3) If there was a grading system in place, were you aware of it before
purchasing these three pianos?

Sincerely,
