Grey Market Yamaha and Dampp Chaser

Hi Doug,
              This is no big suprise.  The buzzing is probably coming from
the board starting to curl away from the ribs.  This has happened on
several pianos that I have looked at.  Most arrived here with small
pressure ridges, which open up in our winter climate. 
The pressure ridges have all been at glue seams on the panel, this previous
stress area has also stressed the board to rib glue joint.  Drying the
piano down to some point way below what it has been used to is enough to
cause the problem.
Your client now has an issue with the selling dealer, or a very expensive
repair if it is possible.
I have no doubt that we will hear more of these stories as time marches on.
