The College of Music at the University of Colorado is seeking 
a highly skilled registered piano technician. This position is 
responsible for supervising, coordinating, and actively 
participating in all phases of piano work, including tuning, 
voicing, action regulating, cleaning, and some aspects of 
rebuilding, and moving of all studio, practice room, and 
concert pianos for the College. The inventory includes 4 
concert grands, and approx. 150 grands and uprights. 
Responsibilities include supervising one half-time employee.

This position requires a registered piano technician with 
several years of experience in this field. The successful 
candidate will be able to prioritize and manage multiple 
assignments, supervise effectively, and work independently 
and collaboratively with faculty, staff and students. Experience 
in rebuilding and restoring pianos is strongly preferred; an 
advanced degree in music is desirable.
