List, The inventor of the Piano Horse is Gordon Crail who owns Piano Wrangler a piano moving company in Austin, Tx. His phone is 512-452-6458. Gordon will be teaching classes on piano moving in Reno at the Annual Convention & Technical Institute. He will show various devices he has invented or perfected to make moves up stairs, etc. The Piano Horse will be demonstrated I'm sure. I recommend the class to all who move pianos even if only occasionally. Gordon is a real pro, very nice guy and can help you save your back. Did the piano horse come about because of discussions on the List about using the lyre for tipping pianos onto piano boards? >> Hi David, I can't answer your question, but the inventor could. You'ld have to contact Jansen and Sons for his name. He lives in Austin Texas. He moves pianos for a living and I believe his company name is The Piano Wrangler. Actually, search the archives (groan), I got his name and number off this list. Doug Mahard
