I never used enough water/alcohol to penetrate that deeply to begin with. I generally used a nose dropper and dripped typically 5 - 8 drops on the tenor and bass shoulders 2-3 on the treble. If I needed more after a day I would repeat the treatment. My main objection to the water alcohol treatment is the time involved. I might also add that I personally liked a little hotter mix.. say 90 proof... grin. -- Richard Brekne RPT, N.P.T.F. Bergen, Norway mailto:Richard.Brekne@grieg.uib.no
